The article examines the main characteristics and features of individuals who have committed crimes in the sphere of family and domestic relations, taking into account contemporary scientific approaches in both domestic and foreign criminology. It analyzes the psychological, social, and legal aspects that contribute to the formation of criminal behavior, and provides a systematic classification of the typological characteristics of such offenders. Special attention is given to the works of leading legal scholars who address issues of family and domestic crime, the motivation behind criminal behavior, and crime prevention strategies in this context.
