Annotatsiya

This article examines the historical development of choral art, its emergence and growth in Europe, its connection with religious rituals, and its gradual transformation into a secular art form. Special attention is given to the traditions of collective singing in Uzbek musical culture, such as the genres of Yalla and Maqam, which laid the foundation for the formation of choral art. The influence of Russian musical culture, the creative adaptations by Uzbek composers, and the role of choral art in national development are also analyzed.
