Currently, sexual harassment is increasingly becoming the focus of public attention, causing the most fierce disputes. In essence, sexual harassment is one of the hard-to-identify objects of scientific knowledge, the quantitative dimensions of which raise many questions. It has a long-term traumatic effect on the victim, often puts her in a hopeless situation, encroaches on civil rights and freedoms, undermines the authority of the authorities. It is proposed to supplement the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the article "Sexual harassment", which establishes criminal liability for sexual harassment. The establishment of such responsibility meets the urgent challenge of legal protection of victims of sexual harassment and corresponds to the global trend of strengthening the fight against discrimination of the individual.
