This study is dedicated to the analysis of crime in the field of education, focusing on corruption offenses, acts of violence, negligent crimes, and manifestations of extremism. The main hypothesis is that the high level of crime in the educational environment—primarily of a corruption-related nature—is driven by systemic socio-economic and organizational factors (such as low teacher salaries, insufficient oversight, and moral degradation), while instances of violence, negligent offenses, and extremism stem from gaps in preventive measures. The research identifies key patterns: the dominance of official corruption offenses among education personnel, the occurrence of violence against students by staff, the rare incidence of negligent crimes (about two percent of the total), and the growing threat of extremist influence on youth. A critical analysis of criminal policy and preventive measures has been conducted, revealing that, despite ongoing efforts, the issue of crime in education remains largely unresolved. The conclusion proposes recommendations for improving criminal law policy, strengthening preventive action, and advancing legislative initiatives to ensure safety and legality in the education system.
