Corruption is one of the main obstacles to the economic and political growth of the state. Corruption, or the actions of government officials, is one of the oldest forms of crime that arose with the advent of the state system. Currently, corrupt practices cause significant damage to the economies of various countries. It is noted that some countries may be going through the process of transformation of the economic model in the period of their modern development. In order to form an effective anti-corruption policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is necessary to study and generalize the experience of developed and developing countries. This article examines the attitude of society to the manifestations of corruption on the example of the countries of Asia, Africa and Europe. Namely, scientific research on the problem of combating corruption is considered. Corruption is one of the main constraining factors on the way to reforming the structure of the state. At this time, social movements, as a rule, counteract corruption by means of various public organizations. Therefore, this article summarizes the problems of corruption in developing countries, which may possibly help to develop an effective anti-corruption program in further research by the authors.
