In this article, the current state of the order of use of natural resources of Uzbekistan is analyzed. The authors consider that the normative legal acts regulating these relations are not fully legal, reflecting current trends, as well as the possibilities of modern approaches and technologies. Foreign models in this field, the influence of theoretical concepts on legislation are evaluated. In addition, the authors predicted the use of artificial intelligence in the use of natural resources. Among the global trends in the development of environmental law, the processes of globalization and the stages of penetration of information and communication technologies are highlighted. The issues of further improvement of the mechanisms for the use of some natural resources that are part of public services and increasing the interest of public authorities in this area are also considered. Possible proposals have been made on the development of new regulatory legal acts or on amendments and additions to them.
