Relevance. The cornea is an organ with a complex biomechanical structure. Under the influence of external factors, its curvature changes and it exerts a certain resistance. This particular characteristic makes it important to study the cornea’s biomechanical parameters using modern equipment. Purpose of the study. To evaluate the biomechanical properties of the cornea and the corneal biomechanical parameters using the Corvis ST device in patients with varying degrees of myopia. Materials and methods. Corneal biomechanical parameters were studied using the Corvis ST device in 78 patients (125 eyes) with varying degrees of myopia, referred to the clinic between January and September 2025. All patients underwent the required general and specialized ophthalmological examinations. In addition to corneal biomechanical parameters, the axial length of the eyeball, central corneal thickness, biomechanical intraocular pressure, and visual acuity of the patients were analyzed. Results and conclusions. In patients with high myopia and thin central corneal thickness, there is a tendency for the main parameters of biomechanical dimensions of the cornea to increase compared to patients with low myopia.
