Relevance. Orbital bone wall fractures are combined with eyeball trauma in 36.6–38.1%. Traumatic deformations of the orbital walls cause not only cosmetic defects, but also visual impairments, including vision loss. Purpose of the study. Identification of ophthalmological symptoms and retinal features in patients with combined damage to the visual organ in the early and late post-traumatic period. Materials and methods. We observed 110 patients (110 eyes) with ophthalmological complications associated with combined injuries to the visual organ. We divided the patients into 2 groups based on the time of injury: Group I - 75 patients (75 eyes) who applied in the early period (up to a week), Group II - 35 patients (35 eyes) who applied in the late period (more than a week to 2 years). Results and conclusion. The leading ophthalmological symptoms of combined injuries are: enophthalmos, limited movement of the eyeballs, diplopia. Traumatic optical neuropathy in this pathology occurs in 20.9%. Timely performance of reconstructive surgeries at an early stage allows to restore functional disorders: dystopia in 94.5% of cases, correction of strabismus in 97.7%, diplopia - in 96.7% and to obtain good cosmetic results.
