The authors report that benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) remains a clinically significant problem among men over 50 years of age. TURP is effective but has limitations, particularly regarding prostate volume and complication rates. HoLEP demonstrates superior short-term and long-term outcomes. The authors conclude that a comprehensive approach is necessary, taking into account risk factors, individualized surgical tactics, and the implementation of modern minimally invasive techniques. In Uzbekistan, there is a need for systematic data collection and the development of optimized surgical treatment algorithms, which makes this study both relevant and innovative.
