The study aimed to identify leading risk factors for pelvic organ prolapse (POP). A total of 130 women were examined: 90 with prolapse and 40 healthy controls. Heavy physical labor, obesity, high parity, complicated deliveries, large fetus, early first birth, and short intergenetic interval were significant risk factors. В MI >25 was strongly associated with prolapse (OR=4.8). Three or more deliveries increased risk by 4-6 times. Findings are important for prevention strategies.
