Annotatsiya

This article describes the designs and characteristics of new module types equipped with converters that can convert the thermal component of concentrated solar radiation. These converters are based on granular silicon, which possesses specific properties such as a high Seebeck coefficient, at significantly lower thermal conductivity compared to single-crystal silicon, and resistance to radiation exposure. These properties make granular silicon an ideal material for manufacturing thermal energy converters designed for both ground and space modules equipped with solar radiation concentrators.
