Known and original methods of utilization of dust wastes in the form of microsilica formed in the processes of electric arc smelting of technical silicon or ferrosilicium by their use in concrete, building mixtures, ceramics, as well as for "liquid glass" are discussed. Special attention is paid to the technologies of obtaining micro- and nanoscale silicon carbide powders on the basis of microsilica.
