THIN ORGANIC FILMS BASED ON FRACTAL NANOSIZED FULLERENE C60 UNITS ON SUBSTRATE SURFACE

Annotatsiya

The structural features and dimensional characteristics of aggregates of fullerene C60 synthesized in binary mixtures of organic solvents (xylene-tetrahydrofuran), which prepared by a non-equilibrium way (mixing of the C60 solution with a magnetic stirrer), were studied using high-resolution transmission electron and atomic force microscopy methods. The physical mechanisms of synthesis of large (up to∼600 nm in diameter) fractal nanoaggregates of fullerene n-С60 in solutions were established and the method for producing submicron fullerene coatings (thickness up to ∼1.4 μm) from a solution on a plane dielectric surface of mica has been proposed.
