Annotatsiya

The dependence of photoelastic properties of PbMoO4 crystals, doped with Na and Nd impurities, on the direction of polarization of diffracted light on the acoustic waves have been determined by the Dixon method in the regime of Bragg light diffraction. The observed photoelastic anisotropy is explained by the movement of Na and Nd impurity ions in preference along the Z crystallographic axis.
