Anisotropy of acousto-optical properties of CaMoO4 crystals during diffraction of light by transverse acoustic waves

Annotatsiya

The dependence of the acousto-optical properties of calcium molybdate crystals on the direction of the wave vector of transverse acoustic waves in the (001) plane was studied by the Bragg light diffraction method. It is shown that there is a correlation between the orientation dependences of the effective elastic and photoelastic constants for the studied light diffraction geometry. Based on the experimental results, the most effective geometry of the Bragg light diffraction by transverse acoustic waves was determined.
