The temperature dependence of the coefficient of thermal conductivity of cyclohexanol and isobutyl alcohol in the range 293−363 K was studied. It is shown that a linear dependence of the thermal conductivity on temperature with a negative temperature coefficient equal to 1.83×10−3 deg−1 is observed. The dependence between the thermal conductivity and the speed of sound and the specific heat which characterizes the relationship between the thermal and elastic properties of liquids has been calculated.
