The purpose of this paper is experimental study of amorphization of the quartz crystal structure by irradiation of protons of certain doses. It has been shown that in the damaged layer of the crystal subjected to consecutive influence of proton fluencies of 4×1014 cm−2 and γ-quanta dose 1010 Р, the separate germs of AF having the different sizes are appeared along with point defects.
