This article examines the pedagogical significance of incorporating media-content technologies into foreign-language instruction within higher military educational institutions. The integration of modern information and communication tools enhances not only cadets’ linguistic competence but also their ability to engage in realistic communicative situations, acquire military terminology in context, and develop information-processing skills. The study highlights the impact of video lessons, podcasts, authentic military materials, simulated media environments, and interactive digital platforms on the effectiveness of language teaching. Methodological principles, performance indicators, and motivational factors associated with the use of media content are discussed in detail. Findings reveal that media-content technologies substantially improve the quality of foreign-language instruction, strengthen the communicative readiness of military personnel, and expand opportunities for digital transformation of the educational process. The expanded discussion highlights the role of media content in preparing cadets for military-professional tasks, its applicability in distance and hybrid learning formats, and its contribution to developing media literacy. The results show that media-content technologies enhance the quality of foreign-language instruction, strengthen the communicative readiness of military specialists, enable the creation of security-oriented realistic scenarios, and broaden opportunities for the digitalization of the educational process. This approach fosters rapid decision-making, information analysis, and professional communication skills among military learners.
