The article provides a theoretical and empirical analysis of how an artificial intelligence-based adaptive learning environment affects subject teaching methodology. A six-stage adaptive learning model was developed and tested over 16 weeks with 80 university students. The study followed a pretest–posttest control group design, and outcomes were measured against six criteria on a 100-point scale. to over-reliance on the system, data security and teacher preparedness.
