The article investigates the linguocultural and pragmatic features of digital political discourse in English and Uzbek on the basis of social media materials. Digital political discourse differs from traditional political speech in its brevity, immediacy, interactivity, multimodality, and algorithmic circulation. The study examines generalized examples of political posts, comments, hashtags, calls to action, memetic phrases, and visual-textual units typical of X, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, and TikTok. Special attention is paid to linguocultural codes, evaluative vocabulary, forms of address, metaphors, speech acts, and communicative strategies. English digital political discourse tends to emphasize individual agency, rights, choice, competition, leader personality, and polarizing evaluation, whereas Uzbek digital political discourse more actively foregrounds respect, social solidarity, homeland, progress, stability, national values, and collective responsibility. The findings demonstrate that political meaning in the digital environment is produced not only by verbal text but also through hashtags, emojis, images, videos, reposts, comment chains, and platform algorithms. The article argues that linguocultural features establish cultural proximity with the audience, while pragmatic strategies perform persuasion, mobilization, legitimization, and critical positioning.
