This article explores approaches to improving the content of foreign language teaching in the process of developing ecolinguistic competence. It examines the interrelationship between language and ecological thinking and proposes innovative approaches to the integrated development of ecological awareness, language culture, and communicative competence among philology students. The study substantiates the practical advantages of recommendations and methodological guidelines necessary for the effective organization of lessons with ecolinguistic content. The research findings contribute to enhancing students’ ability to use a foreign language in an ecological context during the learning process.
