This article examines the impact of a system of theatrical exercises on the development of foreign-language speech fluency among philology students studying German. The relevance of the study stems from the need to identify effective methods for developing communicative competence in the context of higher philological education. The aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness of using a system of theatrical exercises to develop students’ oral fluency. During the pedagogical experiment, observation, testing, questionnaires, and comparative analysis of learning outcomes were used as research methods.
