This article analyzes the socio-cultural interpretation of the concept of travel in German and Uzbek linguocultures from a comparative linguocultural perspective. The study examines the relationship between the concept of travel and language, culture, and social consciousness, as well as its phraseological, paremiological, and conceptual forms of expression. The role of historical development, cultural values, lifestyle, and the mental characteristics of the German and Uzbek peoples in shaping attitudes toward travel is highlighted. The article also comparatively analyzes travel as a phenomenon of intercultural communication, mobility, pilgrimage, migration, and personal development. The findings indicate that, in both linguocultures, travel appears not only as physical movement but also as a social experience, cultural exchange, and conceptual phenomenon that broadens one’s worldview.
