This study provides a comprehensive analysis of modern approaches to ensuring cybersecurity and data protection in artificial intelligence-based educational platforms. A systematic literature review, comparative legal analysis, technical architecture analysis, and expert assessment were employed as research methods. The study demonstrates that, with the rapid development of modern educational technologies, data security threats are also increasing at an unprecedented rate. Within the research framework, the legal and technical aspects of personal data processing in AI-based educational systems, mechanisms for protecting learning analytics data, advanced cryptographic approaches such as federated learning and differential privacy, and zero trust architecture are analyzed. Furthermore, the manifestation of algorithmic bias and data ethics issues in educational platforms is examined. The research results confirm that ensuring cybersecurity in educational platforms should be viewed not merely as a technical problem but as a multifaceted strategic issue encompassing pedagogical, legal, and ethical dimensions. Recommendations have been developed for applying the national cybersecurity strategy to the education sector in the context of Uzbekistan.
