This study examines the relationship between cultural identity and foreign language learning. As globalization expands intercultural communication, language learners are exposed not only to linguistic systems but also to cultural values, beliefs, and practices. The research investigates how cultural identity influences motivation, language proficiency, and intercultural competence. Drawing on existing literature and theoretical frameworks, the study demonstrates that a strong cultural identity can positively contribute to foreign language acquisition while simultaneously promoting intercultural awareness. The findings suggest that language education should integrate cultural components to facilitate both linguistic and personal development.
