This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of developing the lexical competence of future English language teachers through corpus technologies in the context of the integration of modern linguistics and information technologies. The article highlights the relationship between corpus linguistics and lexical competence, the data-driven learning (DDL) approach, the development of corpus-based lesson materials, methods of teaching collocations and contextual semantics, as well as the effectiveness of training programs aimed at improving teachers’ corpus literacy. According to the research results, the use of corpus technologies significantly enhances future teachers’ lexical competence, independent language learning skills, and pedagogical mastery. At the end of the article, a table comparing traditional and corpus-based methods of developing lexical competence is presented.
