Annotatsiya

This article conceptually analyzes the artistic expression of the "bata" concept in To'lo'g'on Qasimbekov's novel, "The Broken Sword". The research reveals that "bata" is not merely a religious blessing or an ethnographic element, but a universal cultural code that embodies the national consciousness, historical memory, and spiritual values of the people. In the novel, "bata" serves compositional, symbolic, and folkloric functions, and is interpreted as a vital literary device for illuminating characters, grounding the plot's progression, and reflecting the national mindset. Thus, the study substantiates the central role of the "bata" concept within the ideological and aesthetic framework of the work.
