This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the linguistic, cultural, and semantic features of religious phraseologisms, or theophraseologisms, which occupy a specific place in Uzbek linguistics. Based on the inextricable connection between language and national spirituality, the research investigates the origins of fixed expressions formed over centuries under the influence of Islamic concepts, sacred Qur’anic verses, Hadiths, and stories of the prophets deeply rooted in folk speech. The main focus is on the process by which strictly religious texts transitioned into tools of everyday communication, acquired figurative meanings, and came to reflect the faith, moral principles, and life philosophy of the Uzbek people. Furthermore, the study reveals the strong educational significance of theophraseologisms, which encourage patience, honesty, and compassion. In conclusion, it is scientifically substantiated that, in the era of globalization and cultural integration, an in-depth study of this unique lexical layer of the Uzbek language from the perspectives of ethnolinguistics and cultural studies is a crucial factor in preserving national identity and rich historical heritage.
