This article analyzes the comparative study of phraseological units in world linguistics, their linguistic nature, and the similarities and differences across different languages. The study highlights the semantic, structural, and cultural features of phraseological units from the perspective of comparative linguistics. It also demonstrates, through examples, how the national thinking, customs, and worldviews of different peoples are reflected in phraseological units. The article presents scholarly conclusions regarding the challenges of translating phraseological units and their linguocultural significance. The results of the study provide an important source for scholarly work in the fields of phraseology, comparative linguistics, and translation studies.
