This article examines the issue of reducing language anxiety among students during English language teaching. Language anxiety negatively affects learners’ speaking performance, confidence level, and overall academic achievement. Traditional teaching methods often increase fear of making mistakes and learner insecurity. Therefore, the article analyzes ways to reduce anxiety through creating a supportive learning environment, using communicative approaches, and applying interactive teaching methods. The article also examines the methodologies, challenges, and advantages of this approach, as well as its role in improving language learning effectiveness, supported by research examples. Recommendations for implementing language anxiety reduction strategies in different educational settings are also provided.
