This article analyzes the essence of professional and methodological preparedness of pre-service teachers in modern pedagogy. Professional and methodological preparedness is interpreted as an integrative competence that enables future teachers to apply theoretical knowledge in practical pedagogical activity, design lessons, select effective methods, establish classroom interaction, assess learning outcomes, and conduct reflective analysis. The article substantiates the role of teaching practicum, mentoring, microteaching, digital competence, and reflective approaches in the formation of this preparedness.
