This article analyzes the homonymous properties of the grammatical suffixes は (wa), に (ni), で (de), へ (e) in the Japanese language from a linguistic point of view. During the study, the polysemous nature of these suffixes, the performance of different grammatical and semantic functions depending on the context, syntactic functions in the sentence structure, and changes in meaning were studied. The article illustrates the fact that grammatical indicators in the Japanese language, although having the same form, express different meanings in different speech situations based on examples. According to the results of the study, it was determined that the homonymy of these suffixes is one of the important factors shaping the functional and communicative properties of the Japanese language.
