This section analyzes the role of linguoculture in screenwriting. It examines how language and culture express national values, freedom, concepts of family and mahalla in Uzbek screenplays (“Otamdan qolgan dalalar”, “Kelinlar qo‘zg‘oloni”, etc.) through dialogues, dialects and phraseology. Based on Uzbek and foreign scholars’ research, the function of linguocultural elements in film discourse and current challenges are discussed. The aim is to show screenwriting as an important tool for preserving national culture and transmitting it to the younger generation.
