This article presents the findings of studies focused on the linguistic features of gender-marked ix-phemic units in English and Uzbek literary discourse. The research aims to examine the use of euphemisms and dysphemisms in relation to gender stereotypes, social roles, and communicative situations. Drawing on linguocultural and pragmatic approaches, the study analyzes the context-dependent semantic and evaluative characteristics of ix-phemic units. The results indicate that the use of gender-marked ix-phemic units in literary texts is determined not only by linguistic factors but is also closely related to national and cultural values, gender stereotypes, and the specific features of gender roles formed within society.
