This article analyzes the artistic interpretation of female characters in Agatha Christie's detective genre works, their functional role in plot development, and the ideological and artistic purpose that the writer aims to convey through female imagery. The article highlights the main and secondary female characters in novels featuring Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot, the subversion of gender stereotypes, psychological details, and social perspectives. Agatha Christie, the most famous detective writer of the 20th century, is one of the creators who left an indelible mark on world literature. Her novels are distinguished not only by complex plots but also by a system of characters rich in deep psychological analysis. In particular, in Christie's works, female characters occupy a central place: they appear as criminals, witnesses, victims, investigators, and sometimes as the main intellectual force. This article analyzes the artistic depiction of women in Agatha Christie's work and the reflection of the author's purpose in it, based on scientific and theoretical approaches.
