This article analyzes the literary interpretation of female identity, gender relations, and creative freedom in Jasmin Darznik’s novel Song of a Captive Bird. The novel vividly depicts women’s struggle for self-identity within a patriarchal society, emphasizing internal conflicts and the pursuit of artistic liberation. The study also highlights the psychological and stylistic functions of narrative fragmentation as a postmodern narrative strategy.
