The article examines the correlation between realia and cultural concepts in their objective, institutional, historical, and everyday manifestations. It reveals their deep-seated value-semantic and ideological content. The author analyzes the classification of realia in the scholarly literature through several models, highlighting the most productive one for linguodidactic analysis—a classification based on a combination of thematic (objective), local, and temporal criteria.
