This article analyzes the current problems of legal support for crime prevention, examines shortcomings in existing legislation, and proposes possible solutions. The study also highlights issues related to improving the effectiveness of preventive activities, strengthening cooperation between state bodies and the public, and enhancing legal mechanisms aimed at preventing offenses.
