This article examines the theoretical foundations, pedagogical opportunities, and practical challenges of implementing the HyFlex (Hybrid-Flexible) learning model in higher education. In the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and the transformation of modern educational systems, there is an increasing need for flexible and student-centered learning approaches. The HyFlex model integrates face-to-face, synchronous online, and asynchronous learning formats, allowing students to choose the mode of participation according to their individual needs and circumstances. The study analyzes the conceptual principles of the HyFlex model and its potential to enhance accessibility, flexibility, and student engagement in the learning process. Particular attention is given to the pedagogical benefits of the model, including the development of individualized learning trajectories, increased student autonomy, and improved access to educational resources. At the same time, the research identifies several challenges associated with the implementation of the HyFlex model, such as insufficient technological infrastructure, the need for advanced digital pedagogical competencies among instructors, difficulties in managing multimodal learning environments, and issues related to assessment and academic integrity. The findings suggest that the HyFlex model can significantly contribute to the development of flexible and inclusive educational environments in higher education institutions. However, its effective implementation requires appropriate technological support, professional development of teaching staff, and the redesign of learning courses based on the principles of modern digital pedagogy.
