Achieving social stability in society primarily requires establishing appropriate legal and institutional frameworks for regulating relations between religion and the state, as well as analyzing global processes of interaction between religion and secularism and thoroughly studying the experiences of different countries. The peace and stability, interethnic and interreligious harmony, and civic solidarity that have been maintained in Uzbekistan over the past thirty years are practical results of the consistent, well-considered, and pragmatic social policy implemented by the state. The secular policy formed on the basis of constitutional principles, human rights, secularism, and freedom of conscience plays an important role in ensuring social cohesion and national stability under the conditions of global transformations.
