This article analyzes the processes of formation and development of women’s education in Turkestan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It examines the activities of otinoyi schools, the education system, society’s attitudes toward girls’ education, and measures aimed at improving their literacy. The study also highlights the influence of traditional views and social conditions on the development of women’s education.
