: In this article, the issue of digitization in the pre-trial stage of criminal proceedings is considered to be one of the most pressing issues. It is concluded that conducting criminal proceedings using the relevant electronic program and preparing case materials in the form of electronic procedural documents will lead to the guaranteed protection of the rights and freedoms of those involved in the proceedings. Concurrently, the text draws attention to certain inaccuracies in the prevailing procedural legislation, proffering recommendations for their optimal resolution.
