This research discusses the issues that relate to protecting electronic copyright objects on content-sharing websites in Uzbekistan. The research explores current legislation and its effectiveness with regards to digital copyright protection and regards digital platforms in this process. The research indicates shortages in current legislation and proposes measures that can be taken to increase efficiency in protecting copyright law in cyber space. The research further examines the role of content-sharing platforms in enforcing copyright protection, highlighting the challenges these platforms face in monitoring and removing infringing content. It emphasizes the need for clearer legal frameworks that define the responsibilities of digital intermediaries. Additionally, the study suggests adopting advanced technological tools such as automated content recognition systems to detect violations more efficiently. International cooperation and alignment with global digital copyright standards are also recommended to enhance enforcement. Ultimately, the research calls for comprehensive legislative reforms combined with public awareness campaigns to foster respect for intellectual property rights in Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing digital environment.
