This article analyzes the scientific and pedagogical challenges associated with developing information security competencies among students of vocational education organizations (technicums) in the context of digital transformation. The study substantiates the inadequacy of traditional teaching methods in forming skills to counter modern cyber threats, such as phishing and social engineering. The author develops theoretical models of gamification and web-quest technologies as an innovative approach to enhancing didactic support, as well as mechanisms for their integration into the vocational education process. Drawing on the principles of cognitive psychology and digital didactics—rather than on fictitious statistical data—the article fundamentally highlights the impact of game-based technologies on student motivation and the development of cyber hygiene skills.
