This article provides a scientific analysis of current issues in the study of the history of the Turkic Khaganate, including the origins of the term "Turk" and approaches to it, the emergence and development of the Turkic Khaganate, the conditions that motivated its emergence and development, and issues related to the exercise of state power in the Turkic Khaganate.
