This study highlights the didactic criteria and factors for enhancing the professional and pedagogical activities of future music teachers in higher education institutions, specifically in the field of instrumental performance. It addresses aspects such as requirements for professional competence, obligations, and the educational trajectory related to performance skills. The research proposes an integrated educational mechanism based on a novel didactic approach for applying forms, means, and methods to develop piano performance skills in future music teachers. The effectiveness level of this approach has also been determined.
