The article covers the role and significance of competencies and values in the process of training a new generation of teachers, organizing diverse activities of students, achieving the goal of education in modern conditions of socio-economic development, educating them as educated, polite, confident, hardworking, qualified and comprehensively developed people. The article emphasizes the importance of using innovative approaches, digital technologies and modern pedagogical methods in the educational process, as well as the spiritual values of teachers as a key factor in educating the younger generation.
