This article discusses the socio-pedagogical necessity of developing national self-awareness skills in students and analyzes social and pedagogical factors in the development of national self-awareness. The article examines the importance of national self-awareness for student youth, the social environment influencing its formation, the education system, and cultural values in society. It also presents practical tools for the formation of national identity, such as social events, educational and cultural projects, national holidays, and cultural evenings. The article considers the development of national self-awareness necessary from the perspective of societal progress, strengthening national unity, and educating students to be responsible individuals loyal to their nation. The article serves as a guide for teachers, educators, and all participants in the education system in widely promoting and fostering national values among young people.
