In this article, the author examines the interactions of Uzbekistan with international organizations and its ongoing reforms on the path to joining the World Trade Organization. The article analyzes legal norms concerning the reduction of tariffs and quotas on imports and exports, the elimination of non-tariff barriers, the simplification of customs procedures and their alignment with international standards, as well as the modernization of legislation to protect intellectual property rights by globally recognized requirements.
