The article analyzes the socio-pedagogical aspects of interaction between family and educational institutions based on international evaluation studies. Based on scientific evidence, the critical role of the family environment, the availability of educational resources in the family and the teaching competence of parents for the educational success of students is emphasized. Particular attention is paid to the importance of creating a positive educational atmosphere in the family and positive parental attitudes towards learning, which are key factors in student success. The article also highlights problems and ways to improve cooperation between family and school.
